You might know our new Rx Savings Assistant® solution integrates with EHRs to automatically embed Rx discounts in patient discharge papers for drop-dead simple access at the time and place of care. (Contact us to learn more.)
What you might not know, is that to do this efficiently, we leverage Redox, a popular “middleware” vendor. Their “engine” simplifies what we have to do to integrate with multiple different EHRs. This ultimately allows us to write and maintain less code, while making it faster for us to deploy in health systems regardless of whether they are currently using Redox.
Over the last year, we have really honed our deployment processes as we onboarded more and more clients, cutting the required time in half and greatly increasing project predictability. Truly, the bulk of the credit goes to our rockstar Director of Project Management, Sarah Vandenplas.
Our continued process improvement really got the attention of Redox, who were very impressed. They recently featured Sarah in a recorded webinar they hosted on Crowdcast called, EHR Integration Best Practices, and we couldn’t be more proud.
Some points that are covered:
- What metrics are valuable to measure and optimize
- How to improve integration times and resources required over time
- How to put your best foot forward with Healthcare Organizations

FYI, we added a great new calculator that lets health systems estimate how much money we can save their patients each year. Spoiler Alert: For a medium size system, this is over $100 per discount redeemed!
