As Project/Operations Manager, Lilias’ primary task is to facilitate the implementation of our Rx Savings Assistant® solution into the EHRs of our health-care provider clients. She brings a wealth of health care technical knowledge and project management experience to the Medicom Health team to get this job done.
For nearly fifteen years, Lilias has worked in health-care and health-care related technology. Starting out in nursing, Lilias covered many departments including, ED, Postpartum, NICU, ICU, PEDS and Med/Surg. As the technical admin of the floor of the hospital she worked in, she trained staff on Epic and helped to implement tech systems within her department. Lilias then moved to a position as an analyst of the Epic EHR system to determine evidence for medical necessity.
Her interest in technology brought her out of the hospital setting and into the medical software arena where she developed and managed the training department for a medical billing software company. Before coming to Medicom Health, Lilias consulted as a project manager at a large retailer headquartered in Minnesota.
Why Lilias Chose Medicom Health
“As someone who comes from a clinical background, my focus is on improving patient care. Prescription drug costs can discourage med adherence, which leads to poor patient outcomes and eventual readmission. I have seen firsthand what happens when patients are unable to afford their medications, it can be devastating. Medicom Health’s Rx Savings Assistant helps lower prescription drug costs and increase med adherence. I feel incredibly privileged to work for an organization that provides a solution to this problem.”
Most of Lilias’ busy days are spent managing the Rx Savings Assistant implementations for new clients. She helps to design projects that fit each organization’s needs and timelines. Along with this she also manages the ongoing relationship with our clients and provides each organization with training and support. Lilias is also often in meetings with prospective clients to outline the technical aspects and explain the implementation process.
