We take our clients’ security and compliance concerns very seriously. To that end, we spent the last year qualifying for HITRUST CSF® Certification. It is the gold standard for benchmarking an organization’s commitment and ability to safeguard PHI on behalf of healthcare systems.
We are in the last stages of qualifying for our certification. This status demonstrates that Medicom Health has met key regulations and industry-defined requirements to appropriately manage risk. In a nutshell, when an IT department sees our certification, they immediately should have most of their concerns alleviated. Ultimately, this means fewer headaches for our healthcare marketer clients. That’s our goal.
We feel this is a real differentiator for us and the confidence we can provide our clients (and their patients) regarding our services. Meeting (and often exceeding) these requirements is atypical for an organization our size, but speaks to our strong development culture and capabilities.
In their own words, the HITRUST Alliance describes the certification as, “an information security framework that harmonizes the requirements of existing standards and regulations, including federal (HIPAA, HITECH), third party (PCI, COBIT), and government (NIST, FTC).” More information can be found on www.hitrustalliance.net.
We will issue a full press release shortly. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
