In 2000, Medicom Digital, Inc. (now called Medicom Health) was founded to create products that filled a need for software applications that communicated complicated medical information in an interactive and user-friendly format.
The business grew quickly, and so did the list of clients, including a Who’s Who of major health care firms and health associations. Before long, we were creating cutting-edge, interactive software that helped clients market prescription drugs, demonstrate budget impact models and educate consumers on health risks associated with ailments such as heart disease, cancer and diabetes.
As hospitals, clinics and health care systems realized the potential of using online assessments to attract patients, engage consumers and identify at-risk individuals, it was clear that Medicom Health had uncovered an untapped market. In 2011, the line of online health risk assessments was launched. We started creating profilers to fulfill client requests, ranging from heart health to oncology, and weight-loss to women’s health. In addition to those in development, the HRA product line currently consists of 18 assessment.
