How to Use Raw Data Reports to Create Targeted Lists

You can use raw data reports to create highly targeted follow-up lists using the filter function in Excel. This function allows you to more quickly identify the individuals you want to reach out to the most, based on a variety of different data collected from their Profiler results.

Download Your Raw Data Report

You’ll need to download your raw data report to be able to create a targeted list.

  1. On your Client Portal, click ‘Raw Data’ on the left sidebar (under ‘Reports’ tab)
  2. Click ‘Generate Raw Data Report’
  3. Select Profiler & App from dropdown
  4. Select Protected Health Information from User Completions in ‘Report Details’ Section
  5. Click ‘Create Raw Data Report’
  6. Scroll to the report you wish to download, click the dropdown and select ‘Raw Data Report’
  7. Report will download as CSV. Double-click to open report.
  8. Copy/Paste the links from the CSV file into the SAME web browser used to generate report (you must be logged-in to your Client Portal for access)
  9. Your report will download automatically

Filter by Your Desired Metrics

Once you have your raw data report, you can use the filter function to identify users who match any set of specific criteria you’d like to message to.

On Mac:

  1. Select the column you’re interested in sorting. For example, this might be BMI Risk Category, Smoking Status, Diabetes Status, or Exercise Level.
  2. Select the “Sort & Filter” button from the Home menu
  3. Filter the column alphabetically or numerically
    • You can sort alphabetically from A to Z or Z to A
    • You can sort numerically from Smallest to Largest or Largest to Smallest
  4. From the first column on the far left, you can select and copy all of the email addresses associated with your desired result; for example, you can grab all of the email addresses associated with “High” BMI Risk results or “Current” smoking status results.
  5. Pull these emails into your external email program to form your customized, targeted list.

On Windows:

  1. Select the column you’re interested in sorting. For example, this might be BMI Risk Category, Smoking Status, Diabetes Status, or Exercise Level.
