Prostate Cancer HRA Upgrade
We’ve recently upgraded our Prostate Cancer risk assessment. This short assessment helps men learn the factors that increase their prostate cancer risk.
The result report provides a recommendation about what age a man should talk to his doctor about cancer screening and if their family history of cancer warrants a more in-depth screening for genetic factors.
The screening recommendations are based on the American Cancer Society Recommendations for Prostate Cancer Early Detection. These recommendations state that the decision to have tests to look for prostate cancer (screening) should be made only after men learn about the uncertainties, risks, and potential benefits of prostate cancer screening.
Also, this is the last HRA to be upgraded to our v3 platform. As such, it now enjoys all of the features included in the v3 platform, some of which are described here.
One cool feature of the v3 HRAs, are the Follow-up Strategy Guides. These documents recommend nurturing content, calls-to-action, and more for the different risk results in the assessments. Prostate-Cancer-Follow-up-Strategy Guide-sample.
