Our new Bladder Control Assessment can help promote Bladder Health Month in November. Let consumers explore a sensitive health concern privately. Help them know if need to come in for an office visit or not. Often that is their number one concern. (Note: This health risk assessment is a major update to the older “Urinary Incontinence Profiler.” It incorporates the improvements baked into our v3 architecture and is also bit broader.)
“NHO” Problem
Basically, HRAs are great for many NHOs. Indeed, we are talking about National Health Observances. According to the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP), “Each National Health Observance (NHO) presents an opportunity to educate the public, energize co-workers and community members, and promote healthy behaviors.” It follows that we mention them frequently in our blog posts and newsletter entries, especially the major NHOs.
A Suggestion
Consider taking advantage of less well-known National Health Observances to boost hospital service line marketing. Try digging a bit deeper this year. Move past the usual big ones. For example, did you know October has 29 (!) different NHOs this year? Wow.
Pick a slightly obscure one and use it to justify outreach promoting your health awareness content marketing.
Facebook is perfect for NHO promos. For one thing, FB users love quizzes and assessments. Even better, you can even run our HRAs right in Facebook. Users never have to leave FB, which increases the completion rates.
FB + NHO + HRA = Patient acquisition!
Resources
The ODPHP has a great resource site here. https://healthfinder.gov/NHO/nhoyear.aspx?year=2019. They even have NHO toolkits to help you get started.
Finally, if you want suggestions for pairing our health assessments with appropriate NHOs, contact us.
